Original Ohara Koson (Shoson) (1877 - 1945) Japanese Woodblock Print
Two Geese Swimming Near Reeds, 1928

Comments - Terrific illustration of two geese swimming near reeds. The birds are reflected in shimmering white lines against the black background of the water, creating a dramatic effect. The reeds are silhouetted in gray, and the orange on the beaks adds a touch of color. A striking design that would make a wonderful framed display. A later edition from the original blocks.
