Uesugi Terutora Kenshin Dances in Front of a Bonfire, 1878 - Intriguing image of the great warrior Uesugi Terutora Kenshin, known as the Dragon of Echigo, who defeated Oda Nobunaga in battle. He is shown dancing around a bonfire at an encampment, clouds of smoke billowing from the orange and red flames. A man seated on a stool behind him plays a hand drum, and several retainers are seated nearby. A great atmospheric design.
