Original Hiroshi Hara (active circa 1950s) Japanese Woodblock Print
Moat at Todaiji Temple

Comments - Unusual view of the moat at Todaiji Temple in Nara, rendered only in tones of black, gray, and white. A woman in high heels walks a dog along the path at left while a man passes going the other direction, carrying a straw hat in hand. An intriguing design with the black of the sky and water creating a strong contrast to the carefully detailed structure.

Artist - Hiroshi Hara (active circa 1950s)

Image Size - 11 1/2" x 15 1/2" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Light toning. Please see photos for details. Very nice overall.
