Comments - Lovely Hiroshige pillar print design of a kingfisher flying over a pond. Tall reeds and a water plant with large leaves and yellow flowers frame the gently rippling water. The bird is beautifully colored and detailed. A very attractive design with soft shading in the water and sky, rarely seen in reprint. Would make a wonderful framed display. The poem at upper left reads:

Small shrimp by the shore
fleeing as the boat comes in
under summer's moon.
