Mt. Fuji and Mt. Ashitaka from Hara - Dramatic image of travelers along the Tokaido Road, dwarfed by the monumental shape of Mt. Fuji in the background. The mountain tip actually breaks the boundary of the woodblock's top edge, an unusual occurrence in Hiroshige's work. A breathtaking view with fine bokashi shading.

Artist - Hiroshige (1797 - 1858)

Image Size - 13 1/2" x 8 7/8" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Small loss at edge, slight thinning at corners, repaired. Slight toning and soiling, a few small stains and marks, slight rubbing at edges, slight paper remnants along left edge. Please see photos for details.
