Goten Hill, 1858 - Handsome view of Gotenyama or Goten Hill, a popular location in Edo for viewing the cherry blossoms. A waitress waits outside a tea stand at right, while just behind, cloth tent walls provide privacy for a daimyo and his group. A few figures can be seen just approaching the top of the plateau near the center, with the city spreading out below and ships on the horizon. An attractive design.
