Moonlit Night at Kasumigaseki Harimaze, circa 1843 - 1844 - Handsome harimaze print of a daimyo's procession making its way down the steep hill of Kasumigaseki. A crescent moon glows in the night sky above. Harimaze are woodblock prints featuring several images on one page, designed to be cut apart and pasted into albums or mounted to screens. Also in the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

Artist - Hiroshige (1797 - 1858)

Image Size - 11 1/4" x 3 1/8"

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Slight paper remnant on reverse at right edge from previous mounting. Horizontal centerfold and folds at corners. Small hole at edge, repaired. Toning, creasing, slight soiling. Please see photos for details.
