Original Fu Takenaka (born 1945) Japanese Woodblock Print
Rokkaku Temple

Fu Takenaka - Born in 1945, Fu Takenaka worked as a clothing and interior designer before beginning to create woodblock prints in 2003. Her contemporary designs grow out of the tradition of sumi ink and wash paintings, with the addition of a limited use of bright color to create effective contrasts and a modern take on timeless Japanese subjects. Each limited edition print is signed, titled in Japanese, and numbered in pencil in the bottom margin. These attractive designs are a great choice for a collector interested in contemporary Japanese art.
