Comments - Wonderful Hiroshige kakemono or vertical diptych of the moon rising behind the famous Monkey Bridge high above the Kakegawa River. A few travelers make their way across the arched structure high above the rushing water, with the rooftops of a village nestled along the shore in the distance. A lovely design and a handsome old reprint. The large format would make a very attractive framed display.
