Fond of Waterfalls, 1863 - Attractive scene of two beauties after a bath. The woman at left uses a blue towel to dry the side of her face, a red-tied cloth wrapped about her waist. Her companion wears an informal blue and white cotton kimono, smiling as she wrings the water from a towel. The inset shows a waterfall rushing over a rocky mountain. A beautiful design from this rarely seen series, with fine detail in the hair and textiles, and soft shading in the background. The Boston Museum of Fine Arts has this image in its collection.
