Series; Eight Fashionable Views of Edo

Descending Geese on the Sumida River - Charming Harunobu design of an elegant beauty fishing from a boat. She stands holding a slender bamboo pole as her companion leans back on her arm, a tobacco set nearby. She wears a beautiful kimono with an intricate, delicately embossed patterned, tied with a tie-dyed obi. A pleasure boat can be seen behind them, with rice fields bordering the far shore of the river. A lovely old Meiji era Harunobu beauty print.
