The Fifth Month: Early Summer Rain - Charming portrait of a beauty standing barefoot on a verandah, reading a letter in the rain. She leans back against a wooden pillar, engrossed in the long message as rain slants across the gray sky. She wears a striped outer kimono over a blue and white tie-dyed robe, the fabric lightly embossed. A beautiful subject, attractively colored and seldom seen in reprint.
