Comments - Beautiful triptych of courtesans strolling through the pleasure district on a summer night, accompanied by servants with . The beauties are elegantly dressed in their finest kimono and obi with a variety of striking designs, including a lion, a carp leaping up a waterfall, a dragon and swirling clouds, flowers, and birds with long tail feathers. They were very tall black lacquer wooden geta sandals. Beauties and patrons look down from the upper story of the teahouses lining the street, the eaves hung with red paper lanterns, a large cherry tree covered with pink and white blossoms frames the evening sky. Beautifully detailed with embossing in the white kimono trim, and burnishing in the geta clogs. An attractive subject.
