Beauty Walking through a Courtyard

Comments - Attractive portrait of a beauty walking through a courtyard with large stepping stones. She pauses to look over her shoulder, grinning happily as she holds her robe together with one hand. She wears a kimono shaded from plum to golden yellow with a decorative border, worn over a red under robe, a roll of tissues tucked into her obi. At upper right, smaller buckets of water are stacked atop a large container atop a stone base, and a pine tree frames the scene above. A charming design with a nicely detailed setting.

Artist - Toyokuni III/Kunisada (1786 - 1864)

Image Size - 14 7/8" x 10" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Pinhole, repaired. Sight toning and soiling, a few creases and spots. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
