Wood (Ki): Yadorigi, 1847 - 1852 - Interesting scene of beauties taking shelter beneath a tree during a sudden shower. They kneel on the grass, each with a yellow kimono draped over her head like a hood. Behind them, two palace guards rush for cover as raindrops slant across the darkening sky. A handsome design with fine bokashi shading in the sky and embossing in the white kimono collars.
