Oseyo of the Hiranoya Teahouse - Lovely portrait of the beauty Oseyo of the Hiranoya Teahouse holding a hand mirror while applying makeup. Her face is partially concealed by a fine bamboo blind, but Utamaro has artfully shown her reflection in the hand mirror. A masterful design, with beautiful detailing in the screen and her elegant hairstyle. A real Utamaro masterwork that is rarely seen in reprint.

Image Size - 14 3/4" x 10" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Slight thinning on reverse at two points on right edge from original publisher mounting. A few creases. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
