Comments - Handsome kabuki print featuring folding fans with actor portraits. The top fan shows a man hanging from the branch of a tree as deep water surrounds him, his flowing hair tied back with a dotted sash. Below, a young samurai with a thick ponytail uses his fan as if to deflect the blow from a spear aimed at the fan. An interesting format with nice bokashi shading in the background.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. A couple small holes, thinning spot at edge, repaired. Slight toning and soiling, a few creases, small stain, paper remnant at left edge. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
