Life of Kyoto - Wada Sanzo's "Life of Kyoto" series features scenes from contemporary life in Kyoto, showing people working and going about their daily routines. These handsome images have a very painterly quality, with loose line work and soft areas of color and brush work like watercolor paintings. See example of the series text below (not included). Attractively colored, these charming works provide a glimpse into life in Kyoto in the mid-20th century. A rarely seen Wada Sanzo series.
