Soga Juro Sukenari and Soga Goro Tokimune, 1872 - Moving scene of the two Soga Brothers, Juro Sukenari and Goro Tokimune making their way through the rain on their quest to avenge their father's death. Learning that his murderer, the nobleman Tsuketsune, was accompanying the Shogun Yoritomo on a hunting trip, the pair decided to launch a surprise attack at the hunting camp at the base of Mt. Fuji. The samurai trudge through the rain with determined expressions as wet hair clings to their faces, their flaming torches providing a feeble light against the dark sky and slanting raindrops. A poignant image of the quiet moments just before these brave warriors will achieve their goal.
