Series; Famous Places in Edo

Shinobazu Pond, 1844 - 1845 - Handsome view of the walkway leading to the shrine on the island in the middle of Shinobazu Pond. A stone torii gate towers above the visitors who stroll along the path, with an arched bridge ahead and the rooftop of the shrine in the distance. Lily pads dot the water, and tall pine trees line the walk. An interesting perspective, nicely composed.
