Woodblock Prints on Silk by Uchida - When we purchased a wonderful collection of 20th century prints directly from the archives of the Uchida Art Company of Kyoto, the group also included several woodblock prints on silk. These attractive designs feature the same attention to color and detail as their counterparts on paper, but the silk adds a subtle texture to the designs. We've never come across woodblock prints on silk before, and some of these subjects we haven't even seen on paper. An unusual and interesting addition to a collection.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Mounted to paper backing sheet at right corners. A couple creases at corners, slight fraying at edges. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
