At right, an exquisite lacquer furniture stacks of books and a bundle of scrolls on various shelves. Gorgeous color in the sumptuous kimono fabrics, with embossed patterns in the white collars of the robes, and burnishing in the hair and the lacquer stand. A beautiful print of upper-class ladies enjoying a favorite pastime.
