Atrocities Scroll - Unusual hand scroll depicting a variety atrocities being committed. The scroll reads from right to left, with scenes taking place inside a house, at a river, and in the countryside. The subjects are grisly, violent, and gruesome, and not for the faint of heart.

This Scroll - This is a lithograph reproduction of an Edo era scroll, with a decorative printed border, backed with paper featuring white mica. The illustration is printed in soft tones of yellow, green, blue, and gray. The print is undated, but is likely circa 1890. It features a wooden roller and a braided purple cord tie. The overall length of the scroll is more than 15 feet! Very carefully drawn and quite detailed.

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. Backed with paper. Mica is flaking off with losses. Please see photos for details. Good condition overall.
