Beauty Carrying a Package Kakemono

Comments - Attractive kakemono or vertical diptych of a beauty carrying a package under her arm. She smiles as she looks down, lifting the edge of her blue cherry blossom print kimono to reveal her red under robe above her sandals. Her hair is pulled back into a smooth bun, adorned with ribbons and a hairpin that features tiny flowers dangling from strings of beads. A lovely Edo era beauty design.

Artist - Eizan (1787 - 1867)

Image Size - 26 1/4" x 9"

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Two attached panels, backed with paper. Tiny wormhole, repaired. Slight soiling, creasing from previous rolled storage, a couple stains. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
