The artists include Utamaro, Kiyonaga, Shunko, Buncho, Kiyomasu II, Kiyomitsu, Kaigetsudo Dohan, Kiyoshige, Sharaku, Toyonobu, Kiyomasu I, Masanobu, Kiyonobu I, Moronobu.

This Reprint Set - The Goto Association for Preserving Ukiyo-e commissioned the Adachi Publisher to create this beautiful reprint set featuring classic ukiyo-e images. In an effort to revive and preserve the traditional artistry of Japanese woodblock prints, they hired the most skilled artisans. Hanbei Okura, Denkichi Kuga, Kentaro Maeda, and Shinnosuke Shibamura carved the cherry wood blocks. Katsumaro Murata, Toku Hamano, Toshihiro Kojima, and Noboru Nakata printed the designs, under the supervision of publisher Toyohisa Adachi. Most prints bear the Adachi Publisher seal on the reverse.

This incomplete set features 14 reprints, each tipped in at the top corners to a backing sheet within its own folder. The cover of each folder bears the same image of a beauty by Kiyomasu I. A folded page with text in Japanese and English accompanies each reprint, identifying the artist and subject. The prints are housed in a traditional cloth covered case. A wonderful opportunity to acquire a beautifully printed group of timeless Japanese woodblock designs by ukiyo-e masters.
