Beauty with an Umbrella, 1847 - 1852

Comments - Charming portrait of a beauty carrying an umbrella as she enjoys an evening stroll. She smiles as she looks over her shoulder, lifting the edges of her plaid kimono to reveal her red under robe. Behind her, a low bamboo garden fence encloses a shrub covered with pink flowers and buds. An attractive Edo era design with soft bokashi shading in the night sky.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. A couple small holes, repaired. Slight toning, soiling, and creasing. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
