From the Uchida Publisher Archives - We were fortunate to purchase a wonderful collection of 20th century prints directly from the archives of the Uchida Art Company of
Nisaburo Ito - Born in Kyoto in 1910, shin-hanga artist Nisaburo Ito created many woodblock prints of flowers, landscapes, and noted shrines and temples around his hometown. Some of his designs reflect his study of nihonga or traditional Japanese painting, while others take on a more modern expression. His floral and nature subjects are beautifully rendered with wonderful color and attention to detail. His attractive prints are a lovely choice to collect or display.
Comments - Handsome design of a bonsai chrysanthemum in a blue and white ceramic container with a large rock. The plant is very carefully pruned into cascades of rich green foliage and bright yellow flowers. An attractive subject for display.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Faint toning, a couple small spots and light creases at edges. Please see photos for details. Nice overall.
