Beauty after a Bath

Comments - Handsome design of a beauty after her bath, sitting on the porch trimming her toenails with a pair of scissors. Her floral kimono is loosely wrapped about her, and she looks down, absorbed in her task. She sits on a blue mat with a fan next to her, and a rooster stands in the yard at lower right. Behind her, irises bloom along the edge of a flowing river. Nicely detailed with an attractive setting. Includes delicate embossing on the fan. A subject not often seen in reprint.

Artist - Harunobu (1724 - 1770)

Image Size - 11" x 8"

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Slight paper remnants on reverse at left edge from previous mounting. Light toning, a few spots and creases at edges. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
