Comments - Great modern design of a komuso or wandering monk, playing the shakuhachi flute as a form of meditation. The figure is drawn with wonderful gestural line work, adding a feeling of movement, and set against broad swathes of aqua, green, and brown, suggesting a landscape. The text at the top in both English and Japanese reads "You become good at what you like to do." A terrific choice for a modern Japanese print collector of a fan of Karhu.
