Comments - Dramatic illustration of a battle at night beneath a full moon during the Sino-Japanese War. As Chinese troops attempt to ford a river on horseback, the Japanese attack them as they arrive on the opposite bank, sending riders and mounts tumbling backwards into the water. At left, other Chinese soldiers thrash about in the churning current as their frightened horses rear, unseating their riders. Orange shots streak across the sky and Japanese flags wave above both banks. An action-filled image with fine bokashi shading in the background. We've never before offered this subject.
