The Sumida Embankment at Massaki, 1873 - Charming scene of a beauty riding horseback along the Sumida River embankment as a groom runs beside her. A flowering cherry tree frames a view of a marsh and deep blue water beyond, with thatched-roof buildings along the opposite shore. An attractive design from a rarely seen Tokyo series.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Slight thinning at corner, tear at edge, hole, repaired. Slight toning and soiling, a few creases. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
