Comments - Interesting and unusual print featuring a stylized mask or face with a striped ribbon trailing after it. The mask is set against horizontal bands of black and gray. The edges of the elements are deeply embossed, adding texture and depth to the work. Pencil signed "K. Amano," titled, and numbered 16/90. Kunihiro Amano is known for combining both figural and abstract elements in his stylized images. He has exhibited internationally and his works are in museum collections around the world. A great choice for a collector interested in modern Japanese prints.
