Six Ukiyo-e Masterworks - This complete album contains 6 beautiful reprints of ukiyo-e masterworks in a handsome presentation. The artists included are Kiyonaga, Sharaku, Utamaro, Toyokuni I, Hokusai, and Hiroshige. Published in 1928, each design is printed with crisp line work and fine detail, and attractively colored. The Sharaku print includes a dark silver mica background, a deluxe treatment.

This Complete Album - This book has decorative paper covers with a traditional stab binding, and includes a title page, two pages of text in Japanese, and a colophon. A great opportunity to acquire a set of classic Japanese woodblock subjects in an interesting album format.

Size - Image size approximately 14 1/2" x 9 1/2" + margins as shown; overall album size 9 1/2" x 14 3/8" x 3/8"
Condition - Prints with excellent color and detail as shown. Slight paper remnants on reverse at two corners from original publisher mounting. Slight toning. A few prints have a couple small spots. Windowed viewing pages slightly toned and spotted. Text pages stained. Please see photos for details.
