Comments - Interesting kabuki scene of a monk scratching his head in a puzzled manner as he stares at a man holding a letter in each hand. At right, a beauty looks back over her shoulder with a worried expression as she tucks one hand into her robe. Her hair is pulled back into a smooth bun adorned with a comb, hairpin, floral ornament, and ribbons. Nice large figures set against a deep blue ground.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Three separate panels. Slight paper remnants on reverse from previous backing. Small thinning spot, repaired. Slight soiling, wrinkling, slight rubbing at edges. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
