Clear Weather after Snow at Tenman Shrine, Yushima, 1844 - 1845 - Lovely winter view of visitors climbing the steep stairs to Tenmangu or Tenman Shrine at Yushima. A torii gate at the top of the steps leads to the temple grounds, the rooftops of the buildings covered with snow. A classic Hiroshige snow scene with beautiful shading in the sky and the clouds at lower right.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Vertical centerfold. Wormholes and small losses, repaired. Slight toning, soiling, and creasing, a few small spots and stains. Please see photos for details.
