Women Taking Tea - Charming scene of beauties and a young girl enjoying tea at a friend's house. At right, the hostess offers a guest a covered cup of tea on a black lacquer stand. She reaches for it with an eager smile. In the center, a young girl snacks on the refreshments set before her on sheets of paper. At left, a mother arrives with her son, the boy gesturing at the women inside as he holds her hand over his shoulder. Behind them, a large assortment of bonsai trees are arranged in ceramic containers on shelves before a round window. The large pot at lower left holds blossoming lotuses. A beautiful design with lovely color and detail in the clothing and setting. We've never come across this subject before.
