Series; Eight Views of Omi

Clearing Weather at Awazu - Attractive view of clearing weather at Awazu from an "Eight Views of Omi" series. A circular inset with scalloped edges contains an image of red clouds streaking the sky above a castle at the water's edge. In the foreground, farmers walk along the earthen embankments edging rice fields. A verse in calligraphy frames the scene. A charming design, nicely detailed.

Image Size - 9" x 6 3/4"

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Slight paper remnants on reverse at corners from previous mounting. A few small wormholes, repaired. Slight toning, soiling, and creasing. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
