Fording a River during the Sino-Japanese War, 1894

Comments - Dramatic scene from the Sino-Japanese War of Japanese troops fording a river to engage the Chinese. Both sides fire shots across the water as soldiers plunge into the swiftly moving current to cross, with the enemy massed along a road running through a village. A lively night scene with a handsome natural setting. Detailed with a dusting of mica across the top of the sky.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Three separate panels. A few holes and small tears at edges, repaired. Slight toning, creasing, and soiling. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
