Original Meiji era Japanese Woodblock Print
Early Spring Scene

Comments - Interesting panoramic view of a garden in early spring, with visitors strolling about the grounds viewing the blossoming plum trees among the pines. A pathway leads under a torii gate from rustic logs, next to a large streetlight with a glass globe. Some of the people wear Western clothing while others wear traditional Japanese dress. Several tea stands dot the area. A handsome design with an interesting perspective and wonderful detail.
