Man with a Bell and Mallet

He wears a sheer blue coat over a red and gray plaid kimono tucked into khaki pants patterned with circular medallions. He also wears black leggings and yellow tabi socks, along with a black cloth headdress. A lively drawing done in a very loose, sketch-like manner. An interesting subject for Yamamura Toyonari (Koka), who is best known for his skillful kabuki portraits and later images of modern Japan in the 1920s.
