Spring Beauty Pillar Print

Comments - Lovely pillar print of a young beauty outdoors in spring, balancing one foot on a water basin as she reaches for a flowering plum branch above her head. She pulls back the edge of her kimono to keep it from getting wet, revealing her bare leg. A charming image, beautifully composed to fit the narrow format of the pillar print.

Artist - Koryusai (1735 - 1790)

Image Size - 26 3/4" x 5 5/8" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Slight thinning on reverse at top edge from original publisher mounting. A few small spots and creases. Please note: folded by publisher for storage, will be shipped flat or rolled. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
