View of Futamigaura, 1847 - 1852 - Wonderful view of women walking along the shore by the famous Wedded Rocks at Ise near Futami. The sacred rocks are connected by shimenawa ropes, and a torii gate is perched on top. The women smile and chat as they pass each other on the beach, two carrying umbrellas while the two beauties at right have large lacquered hats and walking sticks. A terrific landscape design with the rugged rocks emerging from the water and a rosy glow spreading along the horizon as the sun sets.

Image Size - 9 1/2" x 14 1/2"

Condition - With excellent color and detail. Some light rubbing and soiling. Some slight toning. A couple minor creases. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
