The Syllable E: Yazama Shunroku Mitsukaze - Terrific scene of ronin Yazama Shunroku Mitsukaze fighting a tengu along an embankment on a rainy night. Winged spirits with bird-like beaks and claws, tengu are known for their fencing ability. Here, Mitsukaze tosses the tengu aside, the creature screaming as it tumbles head over heels as he glares at it angrily over his shoulder. He wears a blue coat over a striped kimono tucked up at the waist for easily walking, his umbrella hastily dropped nearby. A few raindrops slant across the dark sky. A great, atmospheric design, beautifully detailed with a dusting of mica across the sky.
