Boat Ride under the Cherry Blossoms, 1893

Comments - Lovely triptych depicting women and young girls enjoying an outing to view the blossoming cherry trees. At right, two beauties and a child take a boat ride around the lake, one woman poling the craft along. In the center, a girl kneels along the bank, gesturing as three birds bob on the water below. At left, a beauty relaxes on a bench covered with a floral cloth, a slender pipe in hand. The garden is dotted with cherry trees covered with pink and white blossoms. A beautiful spring subject with handsome color and fine detail in the fabrics and setting.

Image Size - 14" x 27 1/2" + margins as shown

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. Three panels, attached at the seams, backed with paper. Slight soiling, a few creases. Please see photos for details. Nice overall.
