Comments - Great kabuki portrait of Nakamura Utaemon IV as the palanquin bearer Naniwa no Jirosaku in the play "Go hiiki yakko no konoshita" at the Ichimura Theater. He stares over his shoulder with an angry frown, his brows furrowed. He wears a black coat over a green and blue print kimono with a brown collar with a feather pattern, and a rust cloth cap. A bold design with a large expressive figure.

Condition - Nice detail. Backed with paper. Light horizontal centerfold, vertical fold at side, a few repairs at edges.
