Comments - Lively scene of festival participants carrying a portable shrine containing a deity, the shrine topped with a figure of a rooster or phoenix. Cloud-shaped borders in green separate the people in the foreground from other floats traveling along the streets among packed crowds of viewers. An interesting image with wonderful detail.

Artist - Meiji era artist (unsigned)

Image Size - 14 1/8" x 9 1/8" + margin as shown

Condition - Good detail. A couple tears at edges and small losses, repaired. A few wrinkles at edges, a couple light vertical folds.
