Beauty beside a Palanquin, 1847 - 1852 - Charming portrait of a beauty standing beside a palanquin, smiling as she looks over her shoulder. She wears an intricately patterned gray and green kimono over a red under robe with an orange collar, tied with a red print obi that reverses to black. A plaid apron is tied around her waist. A border of clouds separates the figure from a view of blossoming cherry trees and clouds drifting above the rooftop of the city. A rarely seen Hiroshige II series.

Condition - Good detail. A few small repairs and horizontal creases, fold near top edge.
