Ichikawa Sadanji as Miura and Bando Hikosaburo as Sano, 1874 - Handsome kabuki double portrait featuring from left, Ichikawa Sadanji as Miura and Bando Hikosaburo as Sano. Miura eyes his companion suspiciously as he looks up, taking hold of Sano's wrist with one hand. Sano grimaces angrily as he looks to the side, his brows furrowed, a pair of chopsticks in his hand. The figure are set against a deep blue ground with a re pillar at left. Nicely detailed with burnishing on the black kimono and embossing on the white kimono trim.

Condition - Excellent color and detail. Backed with paper. A couple light creases at edge.
