Beauty after a Bath, 1867

Comments - Lovely portrait of a beauty kneeling on a cushion after a bath, patting the sides of her face dry with the sleeves of her blue and white cotton kimono. She smiles happily as she looks out the window at a green bird perched on a blossoming plum branch. At lower right, coals glow red in a hibachi on the floor next to a tobacco set topped with a small turtle. A charming design with an attractively detailed setting.

Artist - Kunisada II (1823 - 1880)

Image Size - 14 1/4" x 9 1/2" + margins as shown
