Comments - Interesing depiction of a ceremony presenting "Gift Cups" of sake from the emperor to the Imperial Army commanders who conquered the rebel samurai during the Satsuma Rebellion. Several officers in uniform wearing hats adorned with white feathers sit on chairs waiting their turns for the presentation, several beauties seated among them. Nicely detailed with embossing on the feathers and the white kimono, and burnishing on the black uniforms.

Condition - Nice color and detail. Horizontal centerfold. A couple creases at edges and small repairs.
